Kitana

I enrolled Kitana into dance when she was 10 years old after she attended summer sessions and did hiphop for the summer. Her first year went by so fast and she loved the class and meeting new friends. She enjoyed it so much her second year she decided to enrol in 3 classes a week (hiphop, ballet and lyrical) along with joining the jammer program.

She has been inspired to be a dance teacher when she grows up and is always excited to come home and tell me stories about her day with the little kids.

She has become so much more confident in herself and even won jammer of the year this past season for all her hard work. We are so looking forward to our 2024 season where Kitana is excited to take her dancing to the next level and will be adding jazz to her skills along with joining the company.

Saphirra

Saphirra had been dropping in for dance classes since she was 4. It wasn’t until she was 9 that she made it clear how dance had become one of her passions. The commitment, perseverance, and love for movement that I would not have expected from such a young age had been impressive, to say the least.

This undoubtedly had been directly proportional to the amount of inspiration, guidance, and closely knit relationship fostered by Ms. Nicole and her team. My daughter wasn’t just a number; she felt well-supported, and her growth as a dancer was a priority.

As her parent, we saw her not only growing as a dancer but also as a young lady who values hard work, discipline, and commitment while building lifelong friendships in an environment where our Christian values are respected. Thank you, Spark Studios!

Stephanie

I enrolled Stephanie at the dance studio when she was 4 years old as a way to keep her active when not playing soccer. She has grown in so many ways over the 16 years she has been with the studio. Her poise, grace, and confidence are amazing.

She started learning a combination of ballet, tap, and jazz to learn rhythm and the basics of these three core styles. Eventually, Steph took on the challenges of hip hop, tap, and Havana, along with her staples of ballet, jazz, lyrical, and pointe. With Miss Nicole's guidance, she participated in competitive dance too, and we have a few trophies at home. The studio became like her second home, as she took so many classes, along with working as an assistant for a time.

I give full credit to Miss Nicole and her exceptional staff for how Steph has become such a graceful, confident, and generous young lady.
